Wall Wart Power Supply

Schematic Diagram

The wall wart supply accepts inputs from a wall wart and connects them via a switch to a pair of output terminals.
A digital display, separately switched and battery powered, indicates voltage and current.

Typical wall wart units can supply regulated voltages of 3V, 4.5V, 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V or 12V at currents up to 600mA.
High output units can supply currents up to 2A.

Rear of Front Panel

The front panel carries a voltage and current measuring board made from an Electronics-DIY kit. This is wired to
accept the input from the wall wart and pass it via the switch and the large white 0.1 ohm resistor to the load
terminals. The measuring board is separately powered.
